Jason Myrowitz brings two decades of experience in negotiation practice and training to the Smartnership team. Jason began his career as a negotiator for Sony Pictures Entertainment before entering academia. He now serves as an Associate Professor and the lead instructor for the East Valley Business Administration program at Northern Arizona University - Yuma , where he was honored as the full-time teacher of the year in 2015. His research in the field was also recognized on two separate occasions for Best Paper awards by the Academy of Management. As well, he is vice president of the board of directors for BATS Bay Area Theatre Society.

Dr. Myrowitz originally hails from Baltimore, Maryland, but he has lived all over the United States and now resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with his partner, Deborah. His undergraduate degree is from Brandeis University, where he completed a double major in English and Math. He earned an MBA with a concentration in negotiation and strategy from the University of Alabama. More recently, he did his doctoral studies at Arizona State University to pursue a PhD in Business and then an EdD in Teaching and Learning at Gwynedd Mercy University.

When not working, Dr. Myrowitz's hobbies include poker, escape rooms, and traveling back to Baltimore to visit his six nieces and nephews whenever possible.
